I thought about writing a letter on Monday, as I usually do, but work took the front seat and I decided to skip a week on my newsletter. Then yesterday morning, after going to the US embassy to renew my visa, I did this drawing on my sketchbook for fun. It started just to practice some poses and evolved into thinking about clothes, hairdos and color combinations. On my coffee break at the end of the day, I was talking to Bá something about the story we’re working on, and I had the sketchbook by my side just in case I wanted to sketch or write down some idea we might have, and I glanced past the drawn page and discovered the next page was the last.
Today, I decided to write this shorter letter just to mark the end on this sketchbook, which was the first in this new phase of my life. I started it last year, on a plane going to Richmond for a Galaxy Con convention. I ended it thinking about the ocean, as I have been so much lately.
I’ll start a new sketchbook tomorrow.
Time to dive deeper.
Be safe. Be kind. Be curious.
Pa-ZOW!
