are you ready to go? Go where?

There I was, planning a box to ship the originals for the Amadora exhibit in Portugal at the end of October. One of the stories we made was drawn on a paper slightly larger and taller than the others, outside any regular paper measure, and it didn’t fit any available folder or box, so the solution was to make our own.

The only other time we’ve been to Portugal was as guests of the Beja Festival, and we had an exhibit then as well. After the festival, we had a smaller event in Porto at a gallery/comic shop. That was back in 2010. A lot has changed in the comics’ World these past fifteen years, and we’re excited to go back and check out how’s the Portuguese scene these days. I’ll have more to say about Amadora when we’re closer to the trip.

San Diego

A bunch of people I know are heading to San Diego this week. Comic Con is upon us. Bá and I won’t be there – and we’ll certainly miss seeing our friends again – as we continue to focus on making our new story (as well as making sure Bá finishes the new Umbrella series) but there’s an exclusive Leonardo Romero Umbrella Academy - Plan B cover you can get there.
